Games design, storytelling, & visual art

Currently based out of so-called New England, I’m a passionate illustrator, textile artist, and printmaker, but primarily I write Tabletop and Live-Action Roleplaying Games.

A roleplaying game (abbreviated as RPG) is a game wherein players assume the roles of their characters — making decisions and taking actions as if they were in their character’s position. This can be physically involved, as in Live-Action Roleplaying (LARPing), or in a more descriptive form, as in tabletop board games or TTRPGs. Either way, the players collaborate to create an immersive, flexible story that suits their individual narrative sensibilities.

To date, I’ve written two full LARP collections: Agoraphobic Games (2020) and Sweet and Savory Larps (2019). I’ve also written two standalone tabletop roleplaying games: Call Space Whip Shotgun (2021), and Dream Space (2023).

I aim to create emotional experiences about communities, loneliness and shame, love in its many forms, and the difficulty of understanding others and being understood. My wish is to cultivate tender experiences for players to access vulnerability together and with themselves.
